The Winchester Theater Presents Eastern European Seasons in Las Vegas Nov. 19


The Winchester Dondero Cultural Center, located at 3130 McLeod Drive near Desert Inn Road, is proud to present the Russian Seasons show; an exciting multitude of musical maestros, including Dr. Maria “Masha” Pisarenko, Dmytro Nehrych, and Svetlana Goritselov on Nov. 19 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Attendance for this event is $10 per person. An exciting and diverse program of Eastern European Chamber Music, including works from P. Tchaikovsky, D. Shostakovich, D. Rachmaninoff, R. Shchedrin, and John Williams's music for the famous movie “Schindler’s List.” Audiences will experience the musical genius of Dr. Maria “Masha” Pisarenko (piano), Dmytro Nehrych (violin), and Svetlana Goritselov (cello).

Dr. Maria (Masha) Pisarenko is actively involved in the cultural life of Las Vegas as a performer, educator, and artistic director promoting the Russian Language, Music, and Culture. She has performed on some of the world's most prestigious stages, including in Russia, Asia, Europe, and the United States. She also received the 2018 Steinway Top Teacher Award. Dr. Pisarenko is actively involved in the cultural life of Las Vegas as a performer, educator, and artistic director promoting the Russian Language, Music, and Culture.

Dmytro Nehrych received a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from UNLV in Violin Performance in 2018. As a graduate assistant at UNLV, Dmytro taught theory classes, led orchestra rehearsals, and gave private violin lessons to UNLV students. In 2013, he became a winner of the UNLV Concerto Competition and played solo with UNLV Symphony Orchestra.
