Cheba Hut features muralist Joshua Finley on its Walls.

By Debbie Hall

Cheba Hut, the unique sandwich shop and bar, has opened its newest location in Henderson featuring muralist Joshua Finley. The artist has created an extraordinary work of art, incorporating a nod to the city's beautiful and colorful botanic gardens. The restaurant's laid-back, eclectic ambiance and friendly staff vibes with his artwork.

Raised on a farm in south central Kansas, Joshua started drawing as soon as he could hold a crayon. With no formal training, he created art through all the years of travel and touring while playing music. Joshua moved to Denver in 2012 and became a concert poster artist and mural painter.

"I have taken art classes with two different teachers for the last six years. I am finding my own style, but I enjoy doing landscapes. Usually, I paint with acrylic, but I have also done pen and ink as well as watercolor. In addition to paintings, I have also done some pottery work," said Joshua in an interview on FineArtAmerica.com.

Joshua has painted murals for Cheba Hut in Fort Collins, Colorado, and Denver. For more info, follow him on Facebook and Instagram.

Cheba Hut is located at 3340 Saint Rose Parkway, Henderson. For more information, click here for the website and follow on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
