Kizzy in A Tizzy (the Endometriosis Play) by Erica Griffin @ Current Theatrics

Endometriosis is an extremely painful disease that affects 1 in 10 women in the United States. Erica Griffin's dark comedy is a riff on the typical advice some doctors have given to women suffering from it—"getting pregnant will cure you." Unfortunately, Kizzy is a lesbian in a stable relationship with Gable so she goes to some extreme lengths to resolve her sickness—and they involve a sandwich delivery boy named Jimmy Johnny.

Theresa Davidson, Managing Director for the Endometriosis Foundation of America, states that "We are happy to see that Erica Griffin and Ruth Pe Palileo are harnessing their pain and frustration from this disease for good, by creating, directing and acting out an artistic interpretation of their journey with endometriosis. Kizzy in a Tizzy is a wonderfully creative way to raise awareness for endometriosis."
